Ink, Optimism, and Mild Panic: My First Attempt at Screen Printing

I'm at Print Club London. It’s my first time screen printing, and I’m trying to act like I know what I’m doing, nodding wisely to someone who may as well be speaking another language.
I’m a slow learner. Always have been. The kind of person who needs to watch the demo, rewatch it, pause it halfway through to Google something completely unrelated, then watch it again while pretending I’ve totally got the hang of it. So when it came to screen printing, I wasn’t entirely convinced I’d make it out the other side with anything more than stained shoes and embarrassment.
And yet… somehow, I managed it. I actually made a thing. I'm not sure if I’ll ever become a regular, but for now, I’m genuinely proud. It’s imperfect, but it’s mine.
My screen prints are available to buy here.
