Love, as it turns out, couldn’t care less about appearances. Love doesn’t notice that you’ve put on a few pounds or that you have A LOT less hair than you used to, it also, remarkably, doesn't care that your laugh sounds like a startled goose.
It doesn’t mind that you snore like a small, determined tractor or that you talk non-stop through TV shows and somehow still ask what’s going on. It doesn’t flinch at your collection of worthless 80s memorabilia, or that you always, without fail, manage to say the wrong thing.
Love, gloriously, sees all of it - the awkward, the tragically uncool, the fact that you are quite literally an alien from outer space, and thinks "yeah, that weird little green fella is the one for me".
